We are beginning a long-term relationship with you that we know will be enjoyable and of great benefit. Remember, we are partners in achieving the best results for you.
Our goal is to give you healthy, attractive teeth through an individualized program of care. The length of treatment and degree of success will depend, in part, on your cooperation. Your treatment will be most effective if you keep appointments, maintain your appliances and follow instructions. Daily attention to your braces and other orthodontic appliances is important. Remember to brush regularly and limit sugar in your diet. Avoid eating hard or sticky foods.
Please continue to visit your family dentist regularly-usually every six months. Our treatment will not affect your normal dental examinations.
You have our commitment to provide the best orthodontic care. We take great pride in having a fun, friendly environment but we also are very serious about the quality of our care. If you have any questions or concerns at any stage of treatment, please share them with us.
Thank you for the opportunity to be of service. We welcome you to our office.
PhilosophyRecommendations for treatment are explained at a consultation time set aside specifically for you. Our goal is to ensure that you receive the best possible information concerning your treatment options. Our time investment in patient education enables us to render the best possible outcome for your orthodontic treatment.
Our orthodontic practice is dedicated to providing the finest quality orthodontic treatment in a friendly, enjoyable, respectful and caring team environment.
Our goals are to:
It is our intent to stay on schedule at all times. We have designed our schedule to accomplish this by scheduling appointments according to specific procedures at specific times during the day. Your time is valuable and we want to respect that by staying on schedule as much as possible.
The goal and benefit of orthodontic treatment is the achievement of function, balance and harmony between the teeth and face for a lifetime of beautiful and healthy smiles. Orthodontics not only improve your appearance, it also relieves unnecessary strain and discomfort that occurs when teeth do not meet properly. An attractive smile can greatly enhance a person’s self-esteem and self-confidence, which adds to one’s quality of life.
One key to helping you achieve your ideal smile is working closely with your family dentist. We are always in close communication with your dentist throughout your treatment in our office. Since much of your orthodontic treatment is dependent on good oral health, this contact is essential to provide you with the highest quality results in the shortest amount of time. While you are receiving orthodontic treatment, you should continue to see your family dentist every six months to have routine follow-up care and dental cleanings.
Several options are available to patients concerned about the appearance of braces. We offer mini stainless steel braces, as well as Invisalign®, to provide you with an attractive smile during treatment.
Dr. Clinebell and his staff use state-of-the-art digital radiography. This form of computerized radiography uses a standard dental X-ray generator as its radiation source but the film is replaced with a digital sensor. The extreme sensitivity of the sensor allows an 80 to 90% reduction in the amount of radiation required compared to a standard film-based unit. Digital radiography also allows us to “zoom” in on certain areas to better visualize and diagnose certain problems.
Our computer system is designed to efficiently manage the most complex information in the dental industry. Our system handles treatment and payment plans. We make sure our computer system takes care of the technicalities so that you are provided with the most up-to-date information available.
Our computerized imaging program assists us in predicting growth patterns in children and accurately diagnosing skeletal discrepancies.
In the last few years, patient protection has become an issue of public concern. It has become necessary for health care facilities to consistently apply state-of-the-art sterilization and disinfection techniques to provide patients with maximum protection.
In our office, your safety is our highest priority. Throughout the day, we continuously and thoroughly sterilize our equipment for your protection.
To ensure your safety, we follow a number of standard sterilization procedures with all instruments and handpieces. They are brought into our sterilization area and placed in an ultrasonic cleaner to remove all microscopic debris. The instruments and handpieces are then rinsed thoroughly before being sterilized in an autoclave, which runs for 20 minutes and reaches a temperature of 400-425 degrees, thereby destroying all bacteria and all viruses.
Our autoclave and dry heat sterilizer are monitored regularly to ensure their efficiency and safety.
All staff members are updated annually in proper patient protection procedures and have been vaccinated against the Hepatitis-B virus. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding patient protection and give you a personal tour of our sterilization facility.
We follow HIPPA guidelines as outlined by the American Dental Association. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
